Since 2000, HDFEST has known that high-def and digital cinema are the future of the entertainment industry. Since that time, HDFEST has been at the heart and core of this revolution.

Industry executives and working professionals alike have confirmed HDFEST played and continues to play a vital role in the acceleration of this transition.

For years, HDFEST has been producing all high-def film festivals all over the globe. Since HDFEST's inception, there have been 23 HDFEST events in 10 cities from LA and NYC, to London and Helsinki, to Sydney, Australia.

In addition to screenings of movies, HDFEST events also include panels and seminars on high-def filmmaking and digital cinema with some of the industry's leading experts. Past panelists and keynote speakers have included top representatives from Intel, Disney, Dolby, ARRI, DALSA Digital Cinema, Autodesk, CinemaNow, Sony, Thomson Grass Valley, to name a few.

HDFEST events in 2008 will showcase some of the finest new independent cinema from around the world, all of which has been created with state-of-the-art high-definition technology. HDFEST is further pleased to announce that the New York festival screenings will be held in the High-Definition Theatre at Sony Wonder Technology Lab which is a four-story, interactive technology and entertainment museum for all ages.
