The flight heads south down the Mississippi River to the St. Louis Arch. Scene #1 - Reverend Matthew Brewer (John Prosky) and his "Citizens for Decency", protest at the funeral of a murdered gay college student. St. Louis Reporter Don Deetz (Jason Wiles) covers the protest. Scene #2 - Meet Mike and Diane Howard - Mike (Matt Letscher) is a computer repairman for IBM and his wife Diane (Sarah Brown) is a registered nurse that work in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit).
