The aerial shot begins at Creve Coeur Airport and follows the Missouri River north past St. Charles. The Missouri River then dumps into the Mississippi River where the barges are at Alton, Illinois. The flight heads south down the Mississippi River to the St. Louis Arch. Scene #1 - Reverend Matthew Brewer (John Prosky) and his "Citizens for Decency", protest at the funeral of a murdered gay college student. St. Louis Reporter Don Deetz (Jason Wiles) covers the protest. Scene #2 - Meet Mike and Diane Howard - Mike (Matt Letscher) is a computer repairman for IBM and his wife Diane (Sarah Brown) is a registered nurse that work in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit).
