Brian Levin was born on July 12, 1983 in a hospital in Evanston, IL. He currently resides in Morton Grove, IL, a suburb just north of the Great Midwestern city of Chicago.
Brian's first introduction to film was watching 'Jaws' at a very early age, and from then it was, so-to speak, love at first sight. Brian crew up admiring filmmakers the likes of Steven Spielberg, but as he grew older slowly began to learn more about filmmaking, and more specifically, how he could get involved.
After high school he attended the New York Film Academy where he realized his enjoyment of cinematography most of all in the filmmaking world.
While there he shot several student films, and got a few lucky breaks shooting features such as 'Legit', an independent gangster film currently in distribution on Netflix and Amazon.
Education: Columbia College Chicago, September 2001 – December 2005.
