From his pioneering work in interactive theatre in Australia through to his multi-award winning short films, Glenn has always sought to read the world through its darker reflections. His recent writing has focused heavily in the realms of speculative fiction, and particularly in that arena’s telling to younger audiences.
Over the years Glenn’s short films have won recognition at the Sydney Film Festival, Tropfest, Sundance and Edinburgh and as well as his having written or directed dozens of hours of documentary and educational programming, he has also ventured into theatre directing Mastrosimone’s 'Extremities' for the London stage for a successful and well-reviewed run.
Over the past few years he has shot in many colourful and troubled locations including religious sites in Iran, the favelas of Brazil, through China, India and the Middle East. He has developed a reputation as a filmmaker who can land on location and make the story happen. More importantly it has been a connection to the truth found in documentary experiences that he seeks to incorporate into his narrative work.
He has recently completed writing duties on the epic fantasy screenplay 'Mythic' for Odin’s Eye Entertainment and is presently engaged with Ambience Entertainment on the children’s series 'Larry The Lawnmower'.
He has also contributed to diverse filmmaking journals such as Broadcast, Cinema Papers and Inside Film and taught filmmaking studies at universities in the UK and Australia.
