Jon's debut feature 'Cass' received widespread critical acclaim and was released theatrically in the UK by Optimum in 2008. The film has since gone on to become one of their most successful titles ever on DVD, and has been picked up in the US by the Independent Film Channel. It is also being distributed internationally.
In 2009, Jon launched two projects - 'Embassy', a film surrounding the true events of the Iranian Embassy siege in London of 1980, and an adaptation of Irvine Welsh's best selling cult novel, 'Filth'.
Before moving into feature film, Jon worked as a freelance director and producer for every UK television network, but mainly within the BBC comedy department.
