Stéphane BERLA was born in 1975 in Lyon, in the street of "Les Frères Lumières", the inventors of the Cinematograph. Since he was 10, he was caught by the passion of music creation and graphic arts; he spends all his spare time locked in his bedroom with a computer and music keyboards. It is the discovering of "Brazil", the Terry Gilliam's masterwork which revealed his vocation.
After some live and 3d shorts, integrates the ESRA, a famous French cinematography school where he developed an original universe with a series of shorts and experimental films. After graduating, he works as graphic artist for a few years then as artistic director. He takes advantage of his free time to create false advertisement, self-produced music videos and short films made by mixing real life and animation which gradually led him to show his work in numerous international festivals.
