Years Experience: 26
Tom Bracone began what he never imagined would be an illustrious career in the commercial film industry after completing his studies in 1980 from a prestigious film school in NYC.
Tom’s first job was working as a production manager for one of the few bi-coastal commercial production companies, Sunlight Pictures Corp., which brought him in contact with some of the most notable directors in the industry. He worked with Melvin Sokolsky, a principal in the company, who was considered one of the top five commercial directors at the time. The roster of professionals he has worked with include Alex Fernbach, Jerry Shore, and the first American representation of Ridley Scott and Tony Scott; all of whom proved to be huge influences in his life and his work.
After four years of working with and being mentored by Tabletop director Alex Fernbach, Tom set out into the freelance world. He immediately found himself assisting two of the industry’s most prominent Tabletop directors, Elbert Budin and Santiago Suarez of Ampersand Productions. This began a three year project which led to a deep rooted love for the Tabletop genre. With a strong desire and discipline to pursue this type of work, his reputation began to flourish. Tom began steady work for the likes of Michael Somoroff, Greg Ramsey, Phil Marco, Alex Fernbach, Michael Schrom, and Irv Blitz.
With his experience, Tom is certain you will agree that his vision and approach to this genre of work is evident on his current reel.
