This is a hilarious spoof of 28 DAYS LATER, starring Nick Swardson. I first became familiar with Swardson’s work while watching “Reno 911!,” where he played the gayer-than-gay street whore Terry Bernadino. Here, he plays a guy who drinks 28 shots in one night and wakes up in a nightmarish world where all his friends are drunken zombies and everyone pukes on each other. In other words, a regular Saturday night for most people, har dee har.

The video has amazing production value, and I’m pretty sure Chris Evans makes a cameo appearance – he’s the star of FANTASTIC FOUR and SUNSHINE – as “Chris”. The filmmakers brilliantly ape the music and editing style of 28 DAYS, even using the same font for the titles.

But the main attraction is Swardson, who’s utterly hilarious. This video has me excited to see his new DVD – “Seriously, Who Farted?” Pretty sophisticated, eh?
