My personal favorite of Boivin’s epic action figure videos.

Confession: I was rooting for Bruce to win this thing. Now, don’t get me wrong, I dig Iron Man as much as the next dude, but only until recently did the iron-suited one come into my life. I’m not a fan of comic books, so I didn’t know who Tony Stark was before Marvel’s big-budget film adaptation hit theaters about a year and a half ago.
Bruce Lee is a different story. When I was a kid, I had all of his movies on videotape (yes, even the disreputable Game of Death). My favorite will always be the brilliant revenge flick Chinese Connection. I love the scene where Bruce kicks the restricted area sign (NO DOGS AND CHINESE ALLOWED) and shatters it into a million pieces. I even bought the deceptively marketed “Bruce Le” and “Bruce Li” videos. Not the real thing, of course, but my appetite for this sort of thing was insatiable at that age. Bruce only made a handful of movies, after all – like Brandon, he died at an impossibly young age.
But enough about my love of Bruce Lee. This is all about Monsieur Monsieur Boivin. Iron Man Vs. Bruce Lee is probably my personal favorite of Boivin’s epic action figure videos. The effects are as good as anything in Jon Favreau’s movie, and the fight choreography is worthy of Master Bruce himself. Nice twist ending, too. I bet you didn’t know you’ve been waiting your whole life to see Bruce Lee kick two hobbits in the head.
