By Brooke Waggoner.

It's an exhilarating song.

Brooke Waggoner is a singer-songwriter whose songs are often backed by a heavy orchestral score. She’s been playing the piano since age four, and this is obvious when you listen to her songs.

The video “Live for the Sounds” is set at a lovely country house. Brooke and her fellow beautiful-wallflower friends are dressed as bridesmaids at some kind of outdoor hippie wedding. Her vocals are backed by cellos and violins.

The most striking aspect of the video is its panoramic presentation and split-screen editing. In addition to her interest in classical music, Waggoner has said that she’d like to compose music for films someday. This video definitely has a cinematic feel, with its De Palma-esque compositions. It's an exhilarating song, by the way; I've already downloaded it off of iTunes. Brooke Waggoner is a talent to watch, and this is a music video to watch immediately.
