Anime about a device that helps therapists enter their patients’ dreams.

Relentlessly surreal.

Relentlessly surreal, Paprika sacrifices story for the sake of style and super weird imagery. However it does do a good job of making up for the lack of plot (and coherence) with oddities so bright and colorful and cheery that it's almost scary, especially when the psychotic undertones start kicking in. I mean if those demonic dolls weren't just a bit unsettling, I don't know what is.
