Intriguing in concept. Mind raping through execution, and no, not in the good way. Primer is a time travel sci-fi so dense and so ridiculously convoluted that even if you manage to follow the torrents of scientific banter, good luck trying to keep track of what the fuck is going on. All this and nothing significant actually happens. Primer doesn't play out like an actual movie, you see. There's no climbing action, climax or even coherent resolution (unless I really missed something here). Just scene after scene of minor discovery, exposition and very little cause and effect.
