A very special edition of a very special film. Korobeiniki won a whole slew of awards in Eugene, OR and was our first film to have an original score. It holds a little piece of my heart and came out almost exactly as I envisioned it. It's rough and absurd, and prompted me to become a filmmaker.
As the War in Europe rages, a young composer prepares for his debut - unaware that the United States has already prepared a draft for nearly a million soldiers. While he is thrust into a war he never asked to fight, the final blow comes after the last shot is fired, and he returns to New York.
